No Need to Rush: The earliest renewal deadlines in Oxford are November 1, and many property owners and managers wait until after the start of the year to list available rentals.
Our Properties Have Later Deadlines: At Cissell Management Company, we typically begin listing properties more likely to rent to students around February 1. If you're not seeing many options right now, it’s because the rental cycle hasn’t started yet—and our website reflects this accurately. We don’t have any properties available at the moment, so please rest assured that our website is up to date.
Make Thoughtful Decisions: If you’ve already lined up your roommates, know where you want to live, and are ready to sign a lease, then by all means, secure a spot if something is available. But don’t feel pressured to rush. There will be enough properties available in the coming months, so take your time and choose what’s right for you.

Student Rentals: Properties more likely to rent to students, including those closer to campus, will become available starting around February 1. However, it’s possible we may know the availability of some student rentals before February 1, especially for properties where we already know the current residents are moving or for new properties that are not currently rented.
Non-Student Rentals: For those seeking properties typically rented by non-students, such as those in quieter residential neighborhoods, availability will generally open up after the March 1 renewal deadline.
