At Cissell Management Company, we understand that moving into a new home comes with significant upfront costs. That’s why we’re proud to offer Oxford’s only Security Deposit Waiver Program, designed to provide flexibility and ease for our qualified residents.
What is the Security Deposit Waiver Program?
Traditionally, renters are required to pay a large cash security deposit upfront before moving in. With our Security Deposit Waiver Program, powered by Obligo, you can skip the cash deposit altogether.
Instead, you’ll simply provide a valid payment method through Obligo's secure platform. If there are any unpaid charges, damages, or missed rent at the end of your lease, Obligo authorizes us to charge your payment method up to the security deposit requirement. You’ll then have the option to settle any charges directly with Obligo.
This program comes with a small fee, typically around 14% of the security deposit requirement, which is paid monthly.
Additionally, Cissell Management Company charges a $25 administrative fee when you sign up for the program and a $75 administrative fee for any claims filed with the waiver provider. These fees cover the additional administrative work required to process your enrollment in the program and to handle claims efficiently.
